Hanson cymbals were made in Sweden by Tage Hanson, who also made bass drum pedals and drumsticks. He started selling the cymbals at the end of the 1940s. They were made of sheet metal bronze and Hanson experimented with different alloys. Max Roach onced played them on a visit to Stockholm.
