In 1970, Stagg started as a guitar company in Japan. In 1995, Leonardo Baldocci, the founder and chairman of the Belgian music distribution group EMD Music relaunched and expanded the brand. Their mission is to offer quality instruments at an affordable price. In addition to cymbals, they offer drums, and other percussion, plus guitars, basses, and other accessories. They are headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, with manufacturing in China.
