Description
AA
- This highly versatile ride cymbal has been the standard in stick sound for many years, balancing crisp stroke definition with a smooth blend of bright tones and a clean bell. (2)
AAX
- The AAX Medium Rides feature a smaller, raw bell, that produces excellent stick sound and control, but also increases it’s crash-ability. The slightly thinner than normal weight, along with the larger-rounder hammer peen, adds darkness and complexity to the overall bright tone of the cymbal. (5)
Artisan
- The high density Hand Hammering of the Artisan Rides creates a line with true character. The tone is dark and the stick sound crisp. This ride is rich with traditional tone. The Artisan Medium Ride offers more volume and definition than the Light Ride model. (3)

HHX
- The HHX Medium Ride is thinner, darker and faster than the HHX Stage ride it replaced. Boosted volume and power, with rich dark sticking and controlled warm spread. (4)
HHX Complex
- As with all HHX Complex cymbals, the Complex Medium Rides are created using a combination of HHX and HH hammering, which results in a rich, dark sound quality. The Hand Hammered raw bell adds to the complexity and lows. The added weight compared to the HHX Complex Thin Ride, gives somewhat more articulation and control to the stick sound. (1)
