Hanson cymbals were made in Sweden by Tage Hanson, who also made bass drum pedals and drumsticks. He started selling the cymbals at the end of the 1940s.Hanson experimented with different alloys and they were made of sheet bronze. Max Roach played them on a visit to Stockholm.
