Review: "The 16" ZBT crash is an excellent, general-purpose crash cymbal. Being on the light side, its pitch is somewhat low for a 16" cymbal, but it is fast and relatively full-bodied."

Review written by Rick Mattingly ("Product Close-Up - Zildjian ZBT And ZBT-Plus Series", Modern Drummer, March 1998, p.43)

Review: "Of the 14", 16", and 18" sent for this review, the 16" and 18" sizes were the most impressive. Their sound was rich, full, and bright. The downside was the need to really lay into these crashes to make them fully project and sing out. In fairness to the ZBT, I've played some "professional" model cymbals that had the same problem, and cost a lot more. So if you don't mind a little extra effort when you play, and you like to save money, what have you got to lose?"
