Review: "The 14" Rock Hats were also thick and heavy, and produced a fine chick sound and a dry, high-pitched top-cymbal sound. They had a respectable amount of sustain when played in the half-open rock style, and seemed to blend well with the other cymbals in the series. They're heavy-duty hi-hats designed for hard playing, and they sounded fine in that application."
