Introduction: 2008
Background: Developed as a solution for situations where the volume of standard cymbals would be too loud, such as churches, weddings, corporate gigs, and other similar settings. They're intended to allow drummers to play without compromise.
Innovation:
Alloy: B8
Quality: Beginner to professional
Production: Cymbals begin as sheets of B8, then cut and stamped into shape; hammering and hand lathing finish the process. (2)
Applications: High volume settings • Live playing
Users:
Sound: The sheer attack of APX cuts through any music. Super-bright, tonally tight, focused and aggressive beyond belief, these cymbals rip through rock-heavy grooves and blistering power chords like a laser beam through darkness. With APX, nothing gets in your way. (1)
