Mike Skiba, world class cymbal smith, made this for me back in 2008 before his untimely passing and it's time for it to find a new home and make some new music. l for years this was my 'take one cymbal to the gig' cymbal. I asked him to make me a ride that captured the sound of Jeff Ballard's heavily cracked old K, and he replied &quot;Oh, so you want a cymbal that sounds cracked but isn't? Hahaha&quot; ... and this is the result. Infinitely controllable with beautiful woody stick articulation while also being fully crashable with an undersized but fully functional bell.
