Review: Terrific ride! Has a nice ping over a warm wash, and I was not at all disappointed in this. May not be the "dry" ride if you like it really dry, this is actually not so dry at all. I use it often in an '80's metal cover band when we play smaller rooms. It is great for blending into the music, although it is actually nice when crash/riding too! I've had several nice comments about the copper like look of the finish. It took me two years to find this, but when I did it was well worth the wait!<br>

Review: Definitely a dry sounding ride. It has a quick decay, with only a small amount of low overtones. In comparison to the Signature 20" Dry Heavy Ride, this is lower in pitch, with a minimal amount of cut and volume. If using in a loud application, I'd recommend using a microphone to bring it through the mix. <br>
Review: Wow what a great ride! Its got a nice clear strong ping, great bell, and has that great 2002 sound. Its weighted perfectly and will even crash which is rare for a dry ride. This will be right at home from jazz to metal. I give it a 9.5/10, I think i found my dream ride! The 2002 dry is a bit lighter than the Signature Dry Heavy, it sounds brighter to me and a lot drier. The amount of hammering on this thing is amazing, top and bottom, looks like a polished shiny penny. The bell is nice and pingy and I agree with Paiste saying it has a "throaty" sound. It's not a really loud cymbal, but loud enough for me to cut through my band at full volume without problems. Its much more dynamic than the Signature Dry Heavy too, it will crash, it will carry a nice wash, and it will ping depending on the strike zone.<br>

Review: "Especially when played with wood-tipped sticks, the 20" Dimension Dry Ride's fundamental pitch is fairly low. As a result, it's crisp and articulate without being "pingy." But it isn't so dry as to be excessively "clicky" either. Faint undertones fatten things out a smidge, but their ceiling remains well below the stick sound. The bell works for subtle tonal variation, but riding on it steadily doesn't generate the kind of clang you're likely to need for rock or louder settings. The Dry ride's unique finish—less reflective and more coppery in color than other Dimensions—perfectly suits its name and sound."<br>
