Stambul NS12

Introduction: 1971
Discontinued: 1978
Background: Careful craftmanship and choice materials, these are the ingredients which give STAMBUL cymbals their characteristic tone, resonance and response. They offer high quality and professional features at a reasonable price. Available in a wide range of sizes and in three weights: Thin, Medium and Heavy. Early 505's were leftover restamped B8 Stambuls

Innovation: Affordable B8 cymbals very similar to the 505's.
Alloy: CuSn8 (Also known as "2002 Bronze")
Quality: Advanced Student Line, intermediate, semi-pro
Production: Cast cymbals using more mass production (automated) manufacturing methods with some manual hammering
Applications: All types of music, particularly pop and rock
Users: Han Bennink used Stambul chinas and Lionel Hampton used the NS12 Stambuls during the old days.
