Introduction: 1993
Discontinued: 2003
Background: 302 & 302 PLUS, introduced in 1993 and discontinued in 2003.
These are entry level strictly for beginners.
“The 302 & 302 PLUS both are made from MS63 brass alloy and have a nice, even sound, yet can deliver power on demand.”
MS63 is a cheap alloy and easy to work with, some claim lesser tonal properties unlike B20-B25, or B15, B10, B8, and even NS12, which is not disputed.
These are Beginner Level cymbals, at very low price range. The PLUS version has been give the Sonic Texture in 2003.

"Since 1947, Paiste has been unrivaled in its ability to produce quality value class instruments. Our knowledge and experience in cymbal making has allowed us to design and produce quality instruments with proper sound and function at any level. With the help of automated tools, we craft our intermediate and entry level cymbals according to our traditional exacting specifications. First unveiled in 1993, our 502, 402 and 302 cymbals received major improvements in 1997. New 302's are made from MS63 brass alloy and have a nice, even sound, yet can deliver power on demand. Improvements in their manufacturing add a significant level of sound and musicality to both 402 and 302 cymbals".(1)
