Description

Traditionals

  • The Medium Light Ride has a controlled, medium pitched character. It has a sweet ping, slightly more pronounced then the Light and Thin Ride, while still riding softly over a warm cushion of sound. You can really hear "air" in this cymbal. When crashed, the result is dark and soft with a short decay. It has good flexibility and is easily controllable. The overall sound appearance reminds one of a "subtle, hoarse voice". (1)
  • Medium dark, low, airy, breathy. Wide range, medium complex mix. Giving, subtle, medium soft feel. Controllable, flexible ride cymbal with mellow, dark, fast fading crash accents.
Weight medium thin Volume soft to medium Stick Sound balanced, sweet Intensity medium lively Sustain medium Bell Character full, integrated (2)
