Istanbul Agop's Description: <<< - >>>
Review: "The 15" Om hi-hats were my personal favorites of all the cymbals in this review. I'm a big fan of the buttery, soft sound of well-worn vintage hi-hats, or even well-matched 16" crash cymbals. These Oms had those qualities, plus increased presence, a gritty sizzle when played partially open, and a plush but crisp foot "chick." They were also very quick to respond to all types of strokes, from soft tip hits on the bow to quick open "barks" to full-on shoulder shanks. Fans of Brian Blade's breathy hi-hat sound will love these."

Review: "For a drummer known for her big hair, it's only fitting that Cindy should also have a penchant for big hats. The 15" Om hi-hats possess a wonderfully deep note, offering a beguiling mix of characteristics from dry when closed tight, through fat when shouldered, to sloshy when half open.
Their size makes them capable of being loud but their mellowness prevents them from getting anywhere near grating."
