The stick sound is clean and clear with little wash, even though this cymbal is on the medium-light side. Suited for either acoustic or low to moderate amplified situations. (1)
Fairly bright, full, warm. Fairly narrow range, fairly clean mix. Even, strong feel. Defined, slightly woody ping over shimmering wash. Versatile, controllable ride with strength.

Dark, full, warm, smoky. Wide range, fairly complex mix. Very controllable. Fairly heavy feel, slightly woody, strong ping over dark, complex wash. Very versatile.

With little overtones, this ride is darker in nature with good stick definition, and a warm wash underneath. The ping has a nice "cushion" to ride over. (1)
Slightly dark, warm, low, mellow. Narrow range with complex mix. Precise stick sound with very controllable low wash. Well suited for articulate, general purpose playing.

Dry Ride's stick sound is very centered, clean, controllable. Higher pitched than the Full Ride, almost with the feel of a Flat Ride with a bell. (1)

Dry, warm, fairly bright, breathy, sandy. Fairly wide range, fairly complex mix. Very controllable response, comfortable feel. A strong, almost brittle ping over a round, steady and controllable wash. Very unique ride cymbal with special character for a variety of styles from R&B over Pop and Rock to Latin or Blues.
