Review: Weighing in at a THIN 1422 grams, this Rare Paiste plays like a Classic Black Label THIN FLAT Ride. The edges are EASILY BENDABLE. The stick definition is strong--compliments of the absence of a bell. The overall vibe is VERY SMOOTH, responsive and definitely MELLOW (just like the recording) .....Being a Paiste 602 Flat Ride, the ensuing wash is shimmering, subtle and controlled, and the edges wobbles.

And this beauty would sing with rivets, well before it ever sobs.
v You can use this Rare Paiste 602 THIN Flat 18" for whatever your heart's content. Use it anytime you need a shimmering, MELLOW 602 Ride with terrific definition and a controlled wash. Perfect for jazz, funk, fusion, world music, all around Roy Haynes-ing or as an alternate ride for mellow pop and rock.
