Review: "The 14" size cymbals seem to be the weak point of the series. They are too big to be used as splashes, but not quite big enough for crashes."

Review written by Rick Van Horn and Rick Mattingly ("More New Cymbals", Modern Drummer, October 1987, p. 126)

Review: The Sound Control crashes pack a wallop. Best of the lot we played was the 12" (HH model, short for hand hammered, retailing for $119.00), a high screamer that gets in quick and out damn near as fast. The 14" (H.H., $155.00), while not as high-toned, otherwise resembled the 12"."

Review written by John Burks and Robin Tolleson ("Cymbals - Things That go Whooooooosh In The Night", Drums and Drumming, Summer 1987, pg. 64)
