Review: "Gentle riding on the surface of this cymbal produced a well-defined tone at the bell and the inner-to-middle portion of the body. As I progressed towards the outside, relatively low-pitched overtones developed. A glancing blow produced a quick response with a medium-fast to fast decay.
Although the 14" model was adequate and well-defined as a small crash on its own, within the context of a full kit - and over amplification - its subtle overtones got lost. In this situation the cymbal acted as more of a low-pitched splash than a high-pitched crash."

Review: "These are a stroke of genius in my mind. Somehow, Zildjian have been able to create crashes that are light, speak really quickly and decay reasonable rapidly, with a distinct dry, trashy quality and a stack of volume. Yes, the crashes are actually really loud when you lay into them, which allows for more versatility. The agro just increases with the size, all the way to 22”. The larger cymbals were awesome – full-bodied, super sensitive to the touch and loud. They’re trashy but not so much to be unusable as a primary crash."
