Review: Paiste's Colorsound coating dries out a cymbal's sound, and it seems to "mute" some of the crash's attack, while leaving the undertones alone. Mine weighs 1837g, and my 900 Colorsound 20" Crash weighs 2056g, but this 2000 series crash is higher in pitch, while they both had roughly the same body. If you like more volume and longer sustain, go with the 20" Power Crash in this line. I did a video above showing both models for comparison. The 20" crashes in this series seem to be a little difficult to find, so be prepared to buy when you do find them.
