Review: This is an oddity. It's from 2002, 7 years after the end of this series, and it's a model that was only offered in the Dimensions line. (side-note: this looks nothing like that Dimensions model, aside from both having a square bell) Usually ones such as this were a customer's special order, but 7 years afterwards is baffling to me.

At a robust 2081 grams, this is heavier than the China Type model that was a part of the 2000 Colorsound series by over 200g. Its looks just like the 2002 20" China but this is quite a bit darker than that one. Not surprisingly it has a big "roar" with a hard "shhhheeenhhh" sound. It's trashy, but to a degree the colorsound coating does dry out the sustain a bit. Luckily the added weight gives it lots of extra energy to make up for it. If they ever made a heavier china in the 2002 series, it would probably sound something like this. That's my video above, using overhead mics. The serial number is seen in the video.
