Description

Alpha

• A unique Flatride, very clear and defined stick with soft, controlled overtones at any playing volume. Works very well with the Crystal_Crash. (2)
  
• Fairly dark, warm. Wide range, fairly clean mix. Even, balanced feel. Very defined, silvery woody ping over quiet, shimmering wash. A fairly strong flat ride sound for medium to lower volume.

• Silky, dry, warm, silvery. Fairly wide range, clean mix. Even, balanced feel. Very defined, crystal-like, ping over controlled, misty, shimmering wash. A focused, rich sounding flat ride for all kinds of musical settings from jazz and blues to pop.

Signature

• Prominent stick definition with very little build-up, even when played forcefully. A clear, sweet ping with quiet wash, excellent for low to medium volume situations. (2)
  
• Bright, warm, sweet, silvery. Narrow range, clean mix. Very controllable with excellent, woody stick definition, very little build up. Overall quiet, very articulate ride with surprising projection.

Sound Formula

• This Flat Ride has characteristics reminiscent of both 2002 and Signature. It contains warmth, a silvery ping and good projection. A nice, alternate ride sound. (2)
  
  

2002

• A cymbal with no bell so that overtones do not build up and absorb the ride beats. The ping is very definite and yet there is just a touch of sizzle to the sound. (1)
  
• A warm, mellow ride with a sweet ping and quiet wash. Due to missing bell, it will not build up even when played forcefully. Projects well. (2)
  
• Warm, mellow, sweet. Fairly narrow range, clean mix. Soft, responsive feel, very controllable. Silvery ping over warm, mellow, controlled wash. A definitive classic flatride sound.
