The <<Blue Bird>> 20" Mellow Ride was developed in collaboration with French Jazz icon André "Dédé" Ceccarelli. The smooth, silvery ping over the warm, soft basic character makes this ride perfect for sophisticated applications in smaller bands. The buttery feel of this medium-light cymbal will be loved by connoisseurs. Dédé's inspiration for this cymbal is recognized by its "Blue Bird" logo. (1)
Soft, warm, papery, airy. Medium range, fairly complex mix. Very light feel. Silky, sweet stick sound over smooth airy wash with a touch of brilliance. A perfect ride for jazz and any jazz related styles of music.

A thin cymbal with a sweet, soft ping and mellow wash underneath. Good for lighter situations. (4)

An entirely new sound color in ride cymbals. Due to the unique small bell the sparkling ping sound never gets lost. The ‘undertone’ or ring adds warmth and life to the sound, but this cymbal does not build up ‘overtones’ even when played forcefully.
