The Medium Heavy Ride is an extension of the Traditional Medium Ride, with more mass and weight to it. With a very clear, defined stick sound and a "meatier" overall quality, this cymbal is well suited for stronger articulation. It is a very controllable cymbal. Despite its thickness, the Medium Heavy Ride still features a light warm wash. (1)
Medium dark, warm, full. Medium wide range with fairly clean mix. Graceful, light feel, very controllable. Fairly strong woody ping. A dark ride cymbal with strength and projection.
