Review: "The Ceccarelli model is interesting, dark, and washy. An underlying spread builds up right away, but stays at an even level during riding. It always feels "under control." You can clearly hear the impact of the stick over this wash, with fewer overtones. The most interesting aspect is the cymbal's ability to quickly "speak" accents in the middle of a ride pattern. It's very sensitive. The bell sound is strong and clear, though still lower than the others in our test group.
This cymbal has a distinctive look: a low profile, with double hammer marks interspersed over the surface. I don't know how else to say it: It's pretty. The stick response seemed to be slightly below that of the medium-weight cymbals, making me work just a bit harder to produce a quick jazz ride pattern. Another varied color for the palette."
