Review: "Starting at the small end, the 14" ZBT crash is fast, high-pitched, and reasonably full-bodied for a 14" crash. In really loud situations it might sound more like a meaty splash cymbal, but in moderate volumes it has the pitch to cut through, and its fast decay makes it ideal for quick punctuations."

Review: "Of the 14", 16", and 18" sent for this review, the 16" and 18" sizes were the most impressive. Their sound was rich, full, and bright. The downside was the need to really lay into these crashes to make them fully project and sing out. In fairness to the ZBT, I've played some "professional" model cymbals that had the same problem, and cost a lot more. So if you don't mind a little extra effort when you play, and you like to save money, what have you got to lose?"
