Series - Sizes

Description

Alpha

  • Bright, quick and powerful. A cutting effect useful for highlighting and accenting. Similar to the 2002 splash but with more weight. (2)
  • Very bright, full, warm. Balanced range and fairly clean mix. Responsive, explosive, quick fade. A versatile, strong, very fast splash.

Seven Sound Set No.2

  • Used for brief ‘splash’ effects, closely related to the 2-beat ‘early jazz’ sound. (3)

Innovations

  • Fairly dark, fast, full. Wide range, fairly complex mix. Even, very responsive feel. Immediate, slightly breathy attack, fast fade. Especially suited for fast accents.

RUDE

  • Quite thick, giving the effect of a "Mini-Crash". Full, high, short, pronounced sound. Very good for loud situations and interesting for percussionists. (2)
  • Bright, full, high pitched, energetic. Wide range, complex mix. Strong feel, explosive, strong splash with quick response. A pair of these would make an excellent mini hi-hat.

Signature

  • Explosive, full, warm and very clear. The ultimate splash sound that works perfectly for studio as well as live situations. (2)

Sound Formula

  • A piercing, crispy splash that explodes like breaking glass. Thin enough for lighter glancing blows and strong enough for quick punctuation. (2)

Twenty

  • Full, fiery, silvery, explosive. Fairly wide range, fairly complex mix. Dynamic, with very giving feel. A responsive and quite sturdy splash cymbal with a balanced, even sparkle and a touch of medium-pitched brittleness. Perfectly suited for any type of application in the studio or in live situations.

Visions

  • Visions splashes are crisp and cutting, with a very short decay. Excellent for short accents and for adding color at the high end. (2)

2002

  • A very thin, small, bright and fast cymbal for splash and choke effects. A full sound for such a a small cymbal. However, it must be played carefully and sensitively, because if you force it, you will likely damage it. (1)
  • A very thin, warm splash, somewhat soft in nature. Sound spectrum opens nicely, even with a light stroke. (2)
  • Warm, full, bright. Fairly narrow range, clean mix. Responsive, explosive, full sounding splash. The definitive classic rock splash sound.
